About Us

In 2003 our local skate scene was thriving. While we all had a great passion for skating none of our families couldn't really afford to continue buying skate parts for us. Our local skate spots mainly consisted of gritty or chunked up ledges, even our local skate park was rough on our souls, frames, and anti rockers. One day my group of friends met a new rollerblader, whose kids were our age.

Derek had a background in machining and fabricating and when he ran into the same issues as we did with our parts wearing down, he did something about it. He returned a few days later with custom handmade UHMW soul plates and months later the first Moonshine UHMW Anti Rocker was developed. He sponsored our group of friends and I took it upon myself to help in anyway possible.   

Moonshine's mission is to provide rollerblader and rollerskaters with durable yet affordable hardware just like Derek did years ago for my friends and I. We're looking forward to developing new products and giving back to a community that has given us so much.
